Bio
 

Coach Daniel Jau became the 4th Head Coach in GCISD History in 2008. Prior to GCISD, Coach Jau was the Head Coach at Nolan Catholic, Sam Houston High School, Bowie High School, and Juan Seguin High School. Coach Jau was also the Head Age Group and Senior/Pre-Senior Coach at (MARS) Mid-Cities Arlington Swim Team from 2000-2011. Coach Jau lives with his wife Christine, daughters Addison and Parker, and their Finnish Spitz, Murphy.

     ADRIANA VALENZUELA

                           Bio

 

Adriana Valenzuela will be officially joining as Junior Varsity assistant coach for the 2022-2023 school year, and continuing her role as evening supervisor for the swim center. She is a lifelong competitive swimmer and has been working in Aquatics for over 8 years with experience as Lifeguard/Instructor, Pool Operator, Swim Lessons, and Age Group Swim Coach. Adriana has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing and is planning on pursuing a Master’s degree in International Business Administration. During her free time, Adriana likes to travel, go camping, read and play board games.

MAUREN PAUL

Bio

Mauren Paul is excited to join the GCISD coaching staff this year. Mauren is a lifelong swimmer, and she has been coaching swimming, both age group and Masters for 6 years, most recently as an Age Group coach at Mars Swimming. This is her second-year teaching Algebra 1 at Grapevine High School. In her free time, Mauren enjoys calligraphy, listening to music, reading, and hanging out with her 16 year old dachshund, Zoey.

STACY MARINCASIU

Bio

Coach Stacy Marincasiu has been coaching diving at GCISD since 2015.

Coach Marincasiu was an AAU diver growing up and had a diving scholarship to FSU and USC graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies prior to earning a Masters in Leadership

and Policy Studies.

 

Coach Marincasiu has been named state dive coach of the meet twice and region dive coach of the year 4 times and has also been named district dive coach of the year 10 times.
